Global perspectives refer to an individual’s awareness of the strengths and limitations of his or her own culture and those of other cultures, of the interdependence amongst countries, and the interconnections amongst the past, present and future.
EdUHK Library provides access to a wide range of resources for Global Perspectives. Use the tab above to look for browse for useful resources in different formats.
"Globalisation should be grounded in cross-cultural fertilisation and mutual learning rather than conformity and convergence to a singular set of “universal” benchmarks. It should not imply the loss of the local identity, but instead be capable of nurturing a culture for appreciating diversity, plurality, tolerance and respect. Multiculturalism is one of the key focus and components of the EdUHK's internationalisation strategy and is advocated both inside and outside campus." said Dr Simon Xu.
