This guide provides various resources and information to help you in exploring and learning about Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) content creation, available equipment and facilities.  It is updated from time to time.  Please send any feedback to us shown on the right if there is any question.

Quick Summary - What is AR / VR /360° ?

Augmented Reality Virtual Reality 360 photo / movie
Interaction between real-world in the background and digital objects popping up in the foreground. Fully engaged in the virtual world as all objects are digitized and there is no interaction with the outside world

Photos or videos made with a special camera that can be viewed in 360 direction.

No interaction with the contents and all are made in 2-dimension.

Usually view AR on mobile phones, can be used on desktop or other mobile devices. Usually view VR on enclosed headset, can be used on mobile devices. Usually view 360 on mobile phone, desktop and other mobile devices.
