Register the plan → DMP-ID pushed to ORCID. Professional Visibility.
Step 1: Visit DMPTool and then click Get Started.
Step 2: Type your Email address to create an account or to sign in if you have an account.
Step 3: If you are creating an account, under Institution and choose "The Education University of Hong Kong".
Step 4: Click on Create plan and answer the 3 questions regarding your research. Then click on Create plan button at the bottom.
Step 5: Choose "No funder associated with this plan or my funder is not listed" if you cannot find your funder from the list.
Step 6: You can then start writing your plan by filling in the questions in the Project details and Write plan tabs. The requested information is based on the funder your choose in Step 3. If you did not choose a funder, the default DMP template is the "Digital Curation Centre" template.
You are advised to go through all the tabs to complete your data plan.
