  • Supplement Course Materials - Use LinkedIn Learning courses to provide additional resources that complement your curriculum.
  • Use as a Skill-Building Tool - Identify key skills relevant to your course and recommend LinkedIn Learning courses to help students develop these skills.
  • Incorporate into Assessments - Include LinkedIn Learning content in quizzes or assessments to evaluate students' understanding and engagement with the material.
  • Encourage Self-Paced Learning - Promote the platform as a resource for students to explore topics at their own pace, allowing them to take initiative in their learning journey.
  • Monitor Progress - Use LinkedIn Learning's tracking features to monitor your student's progress and engagement.
  • Showcase Certificates - Encourage students to obtain Certificates of Completion for LinkedIn Learning courses and share them on their LinkedIn profiles, enhancing their professional credentials.

Use LinkedIn Learning in Classes

LinkedIn Learning is a great resource for enhancing your course content and supporting your students in developing their skills. You can share individual courses, or create playlists (or collections) of courses and videos.

Ways to share a link to a course in LinkedIn Learning:

Option 1: Sharing the course URL from the address bar

  1. Teachers copy the URL for the course from the address bar in the browser, for example, https://www.linkedin.com/learning/paths/master-data-engineering?u=2132948
  2. Students click on the link and it will show the LinkedIn Learning homepage. Do not click the trial!
  3. Students click Sign In at the top of the page.
  4. Students log in with EdUHK account and password. They may also need to log in to LinkedIn if they have connected their account to a personal LinkedIn account.

Or if you have connected your account to a personal LinkedIn account, you can directly enter the password of your personal account.

Things to Know:

Students will be shown the LinkedIn Learning homepage where they will be prompted to sign in to unlock the contents. In order to allow students to access the contents seamlessly, you may add the URL (in red) to the link at the end of the URL (in green) in the box below. Then, copy the new URL to your browser.
